Course description
The QA Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Upon successful completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations.
Course aims:
- Define and describe the actions to take in an emergency first aid situation
- Explain and identify common medical emergencies and demonstrate the appropriate protocols and actions to be taken by a first aider
- Assess the delegates who will be required to demonstrate through practical application the correct actions to take across a range of medical emergencies. Delegate evaluation will consist of 3 practical assessments and one MCQ paper to determine their competency.
