Tooth Wear Management – Dealing with Aesthetics and Occlusal Changes
This course covers the management of tooth wear including dealing with aesthetics and occlusal changes. The management includes direct and indirect materials, using Dahl to modify the occlusion, and includes the use of a variety of splints to prevent further damage as well as to treat TMD, clenching habits, bruxism.
- Provide teaching in the use of direct composite to correct aesthetic and functional occlusal problems in patients with tooth wear
- Provide teaching in the overall management of tooth wear from prevention to maintenance, including the use of splints
- Demonstrate the appropriate use of splints
