October 19th 2020 – October 30th 2020

Dear colleagues,

Welcome to the NNUH Education Bulletin. The aim is to raise awareness of lectures, tutorials, courses and other CPD activities to help with training and appraisals, as well as to stimulate interest. If you would like to advertise any sessions via the bulletin, please email me and I’ll happily include them.

If you would like to organise a teaching session open to colleagues across different departments, you can use the ‘NNUH Education’ Team on Microsoft Teams. I have tried to add all doctors in the Trust to widen access to educational opportunities.

Also be sure to look at the revamped NANIME website, https://nanime.nnuh.nhs.uk/, where you can find key contacts for education and training in the NNUH, as well as information on professional support and wellbeing.

For information about courses run by NANIME, including ATLS, MRCS revision and IMPACT, please check out https://nanime.nnuh.nhs.uk/training/courses/. Upcoming courses in the next two months include:

  • Introduction to Leadership for Emerging and Aspiring Doctors (iLEAD – 4 half day courses starting November 6th 2020 – Course Administrator Sophie Hudson)
  • Developing Your Portfolio (aimed at Core Surgical Trainees) (Half day course on November 19th 2020)
  • EoE Trauma and Orthopaedic Course for CST1 and CST2 (Day-course, November 27th 2020)

Health Education East of England also has a calendar of events on its website, available here:
